While finishing the UK leg of his Birds Eye View tour, Travis Scott made a visit to Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio to give an in-depth interview about his inspirations, frustrations, old memories and more. The Houston native sat down with Lou Stoppard to answer questions submitted by fans and other celebrities.
“I would say that I’m in a way better spot than I was maybe five years ago,” says Scott. “I guess some frustrations transition to other frustrations, but it’s a better frustration. I don’t know if that makes sense but sometimes in life that may seem annoying and frustrate you the most. You may hit a point in your life where you might excel and things might be going good, but then you’re always trying to achieve the next goal that brings you another frustration.”
When asked if he has depicted his hometown properly in his music, he responded:
“Not entirely. But I think this year I’m going way more in depth. I’m recording my album in Houston. I’m shooting more videos there. I’m doing a festival in Houston. I feel like I have to just build up to this point. I feel like now is the time.”
