Rolling Loud, the Miami-based music festival, will be expanding to new grounds soon according to its co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler. The hip-hop festival has added five new locations to its upcoming plans.

In a press release, Cherif says the success of the festival has led to their expansion. “Rolling Loud is the #1 hip-hop festival in the world. After selling out three consecutive years in a row in Miami, it’s time to take the Rolling Loud experience on the road,” he says. “Rap music is the most popular and fastest growing genre of music, and the world deserves to experience curated lineups of its champions.”

Later this year, Rolling Loud will take place in the Bay Area Oct. 21-22 and in Southern California on Dec. 16-17. China and Japan will host their own variations in 2018, and will cap things of in its flagship location of Miami in May 2018.

“Each show will feature a different assortment of hip-hop’s biggest superstars as well as underground heavyweights,” said Zingler. “Miami will remain as our home and premier event as we establish the Rolling Loud brand around the world.”

Their third annual Rolling Loud festival featured many big names like Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug and more.
