Jay-Z is interested in purchasing notorious film producer Harvey Weinstein’s share of The Weinstein Company, according to TMZ.

This week, Weinstein was fired from his position at the company that he co-founded after after many actresses went on record with The New York Times, describing multiple instances of sexual abuse by him. Many actresses like Gwenyth Paltrow, Rosanna Arquette, Asia Argento and Rose McGowan have went on record stating similar encounters with the producer.

The Brooklyn mogul has partnered with The Weinstein Company recently, so the two parties are already familiar with one another. Last year, the film company produced a limited docu-series about Kalief Browder for Jay-Z. In the near future, they plan to release an upcoming project about the murder of Trayvon Martin.
