Kodak Black, born as Dieuson Octave, was arrested on sexual conduct charges last year for allegedly assaulting a woman at a hotel in Florence County, South Carolina. It was reported just before his scheduled performance at a local nightclub.

Monday, Oct. 8, the Florida rapper was indicted on charges of first degree assault. Kodak was released from jail under probation this past June after serving a month of time for violating parole stemming from other incidents.

A trial date has yet to be set following the indictment. When reached out to for more details, an Atlantic Records representative stated, “Atlantic Records is aware of the indictment and it was expected as part of the normal process of the pending case.”
