All eyes were on N.E.R.D. and Migos for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game halftime performance. Taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, N.E.R.D. performed “Lapdance,” “1000” and “Rock Star” from 2017’s No One Ever Really Dies album.

Dressed in a red leather jacket and adidas Hu sneakers, Pharrell was supported by a great deal of mascots, cheerleaders and dancers to excite the crowd.

As the “Happy” lead man displayed his drum skills, Migos would later appear from backstage to join him as special guests to perform their Culture II lead single “Stir Fry.” This performance comes just days after the Migos’ head honcho, Quavo, was dubbed as the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game MVP.

To conclude their act, N.E.R.D. would run through a mini-set of the Rihanna-assisted “Lemon.”

Sunday night (Feb. 18) was a memorable occasion, as comedian Kevin Hart hosted lively pre-game player introductions before Fergie performed the national anthem. Besides social media having a field day with these moments, they were entertaining nonetheless. Canadian rock band, Barenaked Ladies, also joined for Canada’s national anthem before tip-off.
