Mighty Audio created a Kickstarter account to help create an iPod shuffle for Spotify music. IPod shuffles were popular in the past but now most people uses subscription music services on their smartphones.

Mighty’s audio player looks just like an iPod shuffle. The button layout is the same and it has a clip on feature. The tiny audio player is black and green and looks like it matches perfectly with Spotify’s brand colors.

The Mighty player is powered by Android and it’s running Spotify whenever it’s on. The player syncs playlists from Spotify accounts. Mighty promises five hours of music playing. The mini player works well with bluetooth headphones and has two gigabytes of built-in storage. That’s enough storage for 48 hours of music, according to Mighty. The design is drop and water resistant.

Mighty is asking for $250,000. The first deliveries of the music player will begin in November 2016. So far Mighty has raised over $58,000 with a little over 600 supporters.

How people listen to music has been a recent hot topic. Deciding which subscription software or music player depends on lifestyle and personal preference. Most people use their smartphones to listen to music. The Mighty Audio shuffle player seems like it would be great for people that are very active and on the go.
