The oh-so catchy, clapping twerk beats are still in style and is the latest sound coming from the “Try Me” singer/rapper Dej Loaf. She has gone back to her standoffish ways in the single “Back Up” featuring fellow Detroit artist Big Sean. The song takes a sound from Detroit’s classic DJ Clent’s “Back Up Off Me.”
Luv to my Detroit sister Dej! She sampled a old Detroit classic dance song on this! Luv for reppin the city so hard my baby!

After opening for Nikki Minaj on her “The Pink Print” tour, Dej gave party loving Houstonians a sneak peek at her new song on Saturday at Club Monroe, while she partied in a VIP section of her own. Apart of the tour were Meek Mill, Tinashe and Rae Sremmurd.
The 24-year-old XXL Freshman has released songs featuring only the hottest in the rap game like Lil Wayne and Yung Thug. Adding the “IDFWU” rapper to the list was a smart move, as both give the same unbothered attitude in this new club banger. This soon to be summer party hit features sassy lines from her like, “We got glow sticks for you ho chicks, b*tch don’t act like you don’t know this. I’m very antisocial, social network ain’t my motion (I don’t move like that). I show no emotions, n*gga’s b*tches it’s disgustin’.”
We’re not quite sure exactly who disgusted Dej, but the blunt message is all too reminiscent of being in the club and telling that guy who’s insisting he can/should dance behind you to “back up off me.”
