After fans discovered this new treasure, many attempted to decipher the meaning behind the rapper’s mysterious app that takes you on an adventure into outer space towards a blue object, which appears similar to Earth or another planet. The countdown is finally over, and its been confirmed that Pharos indeed contains both new music and live performances from Childish Gambino. In fact, Pharos is the new title of his upcoming album, which he plans to premiere live at the beginning of September with three concerts in the Joshua Tree National Park in California.

A ticket for the three day Pharos concerts on September 2-4 are priced at $99. It might take Gambino all three days to fully reveal the album. Either way, he wants fans to camp out in the desert to experience this out of world trip.
