Pouya Reveals Release Date and Tracklist for New Album ‘Five Five’

Expected to release in March

Following his singles “Daddy Issues” and “Handshakes,” Pouya reveals the official tracklist and release date for his sophomore effort, Five Five.

Being that the 23-year-old hasn’t released a solo project since Underground Underdog in 2016, this announcement caught many by surprise. Needless to say, fans are eager for a standalone project.

Unlike Pouya’s previous work, which consists of collaborative songs like “$outh $ide $uicide” with comrades $UICIDEBOYS, and last year’s “2000 Rounds” with Ghostmane, Five Five will only have one feature from fellow underground star Night Lovell.

This project leaves a lot of room for Pouya to display his lyrical ability, similar to the bars he lays on his South Side Slugs mixtape. Judging from the appearance of the sequel to “Suicidal Thoughts In The Back Of The Cadillac,” you can expect the same raw delivery with a more mature approach.

Listen to “Handshakes” and check out the tracklist for Five Five below.
