Rumors have been circulating since late last year that Valee would be the next signee to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. All speculation was put to rest this month with a Instagram video that shows label head Pusha T introducing him as the newest member of the team.

This news comes after a relatively slow year for the label that used to release music weekly and land on the charts just as often. However, G.O.O.D. Music did release the long overdue debut albums for both Kacy Hill and CyHi The Prynce to wide critical acclaim. As its stars hide from the limelight, the label is making moves to break its emerging talents.

To make the signing official, the duo join forces on a remix of Valee’s “Miami.” Pusha and his protégé have an interesting chemistry. They balance each other to match the eerie RioMac-produced beat perfectly. The chemistry continues with an experimental video that depicts Valee passed out  at a bar, where he would then go on to dream of models, colorful statues, until eventually waking, washed up on a beach in Miami.
