Brooklyn super group Flatbush Zombies recruit fellow New York spitter Joey Bada$$ for the bar-heavy track “Vacation.”

The creeping bells and minimal drums aligns perfectly with the vibe that was created on their Vacation In Hell album. While Smoke DZA recently brought out vintage Joey on their collaborative single “Set The Mood,” Flatbush Zombies push him out of his boom-bap label on “Vacation.”

Breaking new ground isn’t unfamiliar to Flatbush Zombies, their 2016 debut album 3001: A Laced Odyssey is a certified underground classic for its fresh approach to lyrical rap music. Their new installment Vacation In Hell comes hot on the heels of the “Vacation” only hours after its release.

Boasting guest appearances with everyone from down South’s Bun B, East Coast’s Jadakiss, Denzel Curry, Nyck Caution, and even indie band Portugal The Man, it’s safe to assume that Flatbush Zombies are pushing the bounds of lyrical rap once more.
