After having a stellar year in 2017, PnB Rock’s career isn’t looking as bright in the near future. The Philly rapper was arrested on Sunday (Jan. 20) and charged with drugs and firearm charges. His charges include possession of narcotics, possession with intent to deliver, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy, according to CBS Philadelphia.
There’s reportedly been an investigation into Rock (real name Rakim Allen) since November 2018, when neighbors complained he was having loud parties. Others nearby reportedly complained about a strong smell of weed coming from a house on Konefal Street, Bensalem, where PnB was living. Investigators close to the case say that the complaints led them to believe he was selling weed at the house. At his home, Police uncovered “four pounds of marijuana, scales, packaging material, over $33,000 in cash, and a stolen .40 caliber Glock handgun.”
In November, he released the project Throwaways. The release features guest appearances from Lil Durk, Tee Grizzley, Asian Doll, YNW Melly and more.
